SUPPORT SERVICES AND ACTIVITIES

KASI provides multiple support services and activities in the Killarney area, as well as in Millstreet, Co. Cork at Drishane Direct Provision Centre. Below are some of the main services and activities we undertake. We are here to help – if you have any queries, please drop-in to our offices or contact us.

Drop-In

Professional, welcoming, free drop-in service, Monday to Friday.

Information

Free information and advice on wide ranges of queries for asylum seekers, refugees and other migrants.

Administrative Support

Support with essential administrative requirements that come with living and working in Ireland.

Advocacy

Supporting people to access their rights and entitlements through personal advocacy where necessary. Advocating for improved access to rights and entitlements with local and national stakeholders.

Outreach

Outreach to three Direct Provision centres and emergency accommodation centres in Killarney, as well as to Millstreet, Co. Cork.

Training

Providing and Promoting Training Opportunities and Workshops

English Classes

Free English Classes throughout the week. See schedule here.

After-School

Support with homework and extra-curricular after-school activities.

Volunteering

Facilitating Volunteering Opportunities

Awareness Raising

Regular awareness raising activities in schools and in the community. Intercultural events.

Events

Intercultural Events to promote integration.
